This site seems to be dying by the day, so maybe I’ll post something here.

I’m curious what kind of pictures or themes that really gets you going..

Do you like the studio photography kind, where everything from the model’s poses all the way to the styles are meticulously planned?

Or maybe advertisements? Like a make up ad or even catalogue pictures? I know I did catalogues back in my younger days due to the lack of options.

Oh, what about pictures of runway models? Say, a coverage of a fashion show with gorgeous pictures of the models strolling down the runway?

Perhaps the more “candid” pictures? Like pictures of everyday life?

I’ve spent so long trying to figure out what my favourite is, and I think I’ve found it… It’s hard to describe, but I like to use pictures in which I don’t think the subject ever expected for their pictures to be used for that purpose. Even better if the picture is kind of wholesome…

Case in the point, the other day I found a picture (which I discovered later on is actually a stock image) of a woman showing a cute cake that she had made. She looked so proud of it, and it felt like she wanted the world to know of the cake… She looked at the camera, smiling sweetly with the her creation. I couldn’t resist… and I’m sure that she didn’t expect that someone somewhere would use her super wholesome picture for such a different purpose than it was meant for… She wanted to show us the cake, not being used as “fuel”, but it is what it is. The paper was all soggy and wet when I was done. No more cakes…

Another one, strangely enough, is a coverage about this scientist / botanist who previewed her works, including her books, an image of her receiving an award, her inventions, and all that. I… did the same. You know she never thought in a million years THAT’s the way someone would use an article about her achievements. Like, none of that mattered, all that mattered was… how her pictures was used.

Lastly… I managed to pick up this sewing magazine (Threads, if you’re wondering). I couldn’t sew even if my life depends on it, but there was this quilting tutorial which I found… really interesting. Not in the way you might expect, of course. She probably thought that she was helping others with her fully illustrated tutorial but… sorry for using your tutorial not in the way you intended.

There were many other examples that I used, like someone reading a book, a make up tutorial, a guide on how to check for breast cancer at home (yes, I found one), etc. etc. You get the point.

I’m not sure why I find this… rather exciting. An actual model probably knew from the start that her pictures are going to be used for that kind of purpose and maybe accepted it as a normal part of being a model. But those pictures I mentioned above… they didn’t expect their likenesses to be used that way.

And honestly, that makes them special..

  1. Good question. I preffer af picture taken in the exact situation where a woman is reading or leafing trhough her magazine, where you can see wich magazine she is reading.

    1. That’s interesting! But I guess that kind of pic is sort of hard to come by, huh? I’ve only seen a couple of them in all my years collecting stuff like this..

      1. I have managed to collect through the years a good number of “girl with a magazine” photos in a magazine.
I could post them here if only I could realize how to do it…

  2. For me, it’s big beautiful face close ups often used in magazine ads. I love to smell them, lick them, make out with them, rub my cock on them. Mmmhh…

    1. I know what you mean, like those revlon or olay makeup ads, right? They really are great, albeit to be honest I prefer ones that shows a bit more than just the face. But that’s just me though, you do you..

    2. I’m another fan of close ups. Makes me rockhard. Not only the ads, on beauty section, where there are hairstyle / make up tutorials, very often the face fill a large amount of the page.
Excluding the adult magazines, those with hot faces closes are top tier.
I also have some pages wich I managed to keep from a “optical store magazine”. Also hot faces wearing glasses makes me hard.

  3. I also purchased some bridal magazines. Followed a suggestion that I see here…. And dude… I’m becoming addicted to these.
There are a lot of hot faces to shoot. I’ll do a post with my new purchases.
