Well, the problem could be approached in different ways…
-Be honest and open with her.
-Tell her that you like photography, fashion, etc. but that makes you a little embarrassed and that’s why the mags were hidden.
-My case… My girlfriend found two Vogue magazines in my closet, even with some lingerie pieces!
After the first shock, I opened up to her in the sense that I was attracted to everything feminine. That magazines were something “forbidden” for us men and was exciting for me. I tried to divert attention from the models, as it might have killed her insecurities.
Instead of just saying that I was attracted to models, I expanded on the idea of femininity that the magazines showed, clothes, textures, makeup, etc. and that I was attracted to all that (but that I was still completely heterosuxual)
So that worked for a couple of years, then my girlfriend felt a little threatened by the magazines and kept them out of our sex life. Even though magazines have been left out, at least I can share opinions with my GF about lingerie, fashion, models, etc. without feeling uncomfortable.

No point in lying now, might aswell tell her why you have them, when I told my gf she was happy that to turn me on all she had to do was flick through vogue, even if she isn’t into it it’s not as if it is something taboo.
I never get into a relationship without full disclosure up front.

Just be honest with her – have a heart to heart. My wife found a Cosmo I’d left outside accidently and I had to confess all. She was more hurt I’d kept it a secret. She was totally fine about my Cosmo collection, in fact reads them from time to time. She isn’t happy about my cross dressing sadly as I am a transvestite (I only “feel” right when wearing womens clothing). So I jus have to frock up when she’s not around or away from the house.
